About the role

Marlow Medical Group is seeking an enthusiastic Apprentice Medical Receptionist to join their team. This role involves providing excellent patient services and administrative support within a busy healthcare setting. The apprentice will be the first point of contact for patients, helping them access the right services and ensuring the smooth running of the practice. Responsibilities include welcoming patients, managing appointments, handling telephone and online enquiries, processing correspondence, and maintaining accurate patient records. No prior healthcare experience is necessary, but strong communication, IT, and organisational skills are essential. The apprenticeship offers a nationally recognised Customer Service Level 3 qualification, with dedicated support from an assessor, regular reviews, and protected study time. Upon successful completion, there is a possibility of a full-time administrative role. The group serves over 38,000 patients across multiple sites and is committed to high-quality patient care and staff development.
