About the role

As a key person for a small group of children, you will play a vital role in supporting their development, learning, and well-being. This apprenticeship offers the chance to earn while you learn, gain valuable experience, and contribute to a nurturing environment. You'll be responsible for promoting positive relationships with parents, children, and colleagues, ensuring health and safety, and supporting children's educational outcomes through engaging activities. No prior experience is necessary as training and support will be provided by First Rung.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above are desired. First Rung can provide training and work experience opportunities if these qualifications are not yet met. Strong communication, attention to detail, organisation, customer care, problem-solving, administrative, teamwork, creativity, and patience are also essential.
