About the role
Learn and develop core bricklaying skills, including laying bricks and blocks, mixing mortar and setting out work. Assist experienced bricklayers with day-to-day tasks. Develop an understanding of drawings, specifications, and construction methods. Learn to use bricklaying tools and equipment safely. Prepare and handle materials, maintain a tidy and safe work area, and follow site health and safety requirements. Work effectively alongside bricklayers, supervisors, and other trades. Attend college and complete the required apprenticeship training and assessments. This apprenticeship offers a clear career progression path to becoming a fully qualified bricklayer.
