About the role
As an Audit and Accounts Trainee, you will join the Audit team at DSG Chartered Accountants in Liverpool. Your role will involve analysing clients' financial information and summarising or testing these records in accordance with auditing and accounting standards, which will also form part of your studies. You will gain experience in both accounts preparation and audit work to complement your academic learning. Typical daily tasks include performing audit and accounts assignments, preparing basic accounts for various clients, checking financial data such as bank balances and payroll records, and developing strong communication and relationship-building skills with clients and colleagues. You will also utilize audit and accounting software, apply technical knowledge, and attend in-house training to expand your understanding of DSG's services. The long-term objective is to progress towards becoming a chartered accountant.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English Level 5+, GCSE Maths Level 6+, A Level BCC.
