About the role
Kick-start your career at Irizar UK as an Accounts Apprentice! Support the Accounts Manager with the day-to-day running of Irizar’s accounts department while developing practical accounting knowledge and skills through an apprenticeship with the opportunity to develop towards an Assistant Accountant role as your experience progresses.
Duties include assisting with processing purchase invoices, sales invoices, maintaining accounting records, preparing payment information, responding to routine queries, and supporting month-end activities. You will handle financial information confidentially and participate in apprenticeship learning, coursework, and assessments.
Essential requirements include GCSEs in English and Maths at grade 4 or above, along with strong communication, IT, attention to detail, organisation, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. The role offers progression towards an Assistant Accountant position.
