About the role
This is a Level 3 AAT Apprenticeship role focusing on accounting and finance tasks. The apprentice will gain valuable hands-on experience working with an employer for 80% of the time and learning with a training provider for 20%. Key duties include using accounting software, supporting bookkeeping, assisting with VAT returns and payroll, preparing profit & loss accounts and balance sheets, learning about self-assessment tax returns, recording payments and receipts, assisting with year-end accounts, and supporting client communications. The role also involves resolving HMRC queries. Upon completion, there are opportunities for further progression and full-time employment.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above. Strong communication, organisation, analytical, customer care, administrative skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills are desired.
