About the role
Join Simmons Bakers maintenance team as a Property Maintenance Apprentice and gain hands-on experience in keeping their bakery and shops operational. This role involves servicing ovens, fixing refrigerators, and fitting out stores, offering a Level 2 Property Maintenance qualification with paid college day release. Upon successful completion, a permanent role is offered. No prior experience is required, but a full UK driving licence is essential. You will be involved in planned preventive maintenance, routine checks, fault diagnosis, and a range of repair skills including carpentry, plumbing, and plastering. Adherence to health and safety, food safety, and hygiene standards is paramount. This apprenticeship is ideal for individuals who are physically fit, reliable, punctual, and eager to learn.
