About the role

This apprenticeship provides hands-on training and practical experience for individuals starting a career in carpentry. Apprentices will spend four days a month at Greenlight Training, developing essential skills and knowledge, with the remainder of the month spent on site. Duties include assisting experienced carpenters with first and second-fix joinery on residential and commercial sites, learning to measure, cut, and shape timber and board materials accurately, maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workspace adhering to health and safety regulations, learning the proper use and maintenance of hand and power tools, and reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints. The employer is an award-winning construction company based in Bristol with over 20 years of combined industry experience, offering a full building and project management service.
