Apprentice Teaching Assistant

About the role

This apprenticeship offers an exciting opportunity to become an Apprentice Teaching Assistant at Village Primary Academy, part of THE HARMONY TRUST LTD. You will play a crucial role in supporting children's learning and development by assisting with child-initiated and adult-led activities. Key responsibilities include observing and assessing children's progress, ensuring their safety and security as part of a dedicated team, and collaborating effectively with colleagues, parents, and other professionals. You will uphold a duty of care and adhere to safeguarding procedures.

This role is ideal for individuals who are patient, motivated, and enthusiastic, with strong communication, IT, and teamwork skills. You will be working towards a Level 3 qualification, equivalent to A-levels, and will be expected to demonstrate a reflective practice.

Entry requirements

• GCSE English: C/4 or above or equivalent (Essential)
