About the role

This is an opportunity to become an Apprentice SEN Teaching Assistant at Ash Croft Primary Academy, part of THE HARMONY TRUST LTD. The role involves supporting pupils, including those with special needs, to foster their learning and development. Key responsibilities include establishing rapport with pupils, acting as a role model, ensuring pupil safety and equal access to opportunities, administering basic first aid and medication under supervision, promoting inclusion and self-esteem, supporting teachers with behaviour management, preparing resources, and upholding school policies and values. The apprenticeship requires a commitment to ongoing training and development. The school is dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
