Childcare Apprenticeship – Level 3 Early Years Educator

About the role

This apprenticeship is ideal for someone with some prior knowledge and experience within a nursery or school setting and especially someone passionate in childcare and early years, looking to further their career. The role involves providing excellent activities that ensure children learn whilst having fun, supporting children’s learning and development, including planning and observations. You will also be responsible for preparing and maintaining the environment and resources, preparing food for meals, and supporting children’s self-help needs. Key qualities include being creative, enthusiastic, and adhering to safeguarding rules. The apprenticeship includes First Aid training and ongoing training to meet changing standards or legal requirements, ensuring all health and hygiene requirements are met. Upon completion, you will become a Level 3 Practitioner with the potential for a permanent position and opportunities for career progression into roles such as social work, teaching, or management within the childcare sector.

• GCSE English and Maths at grade 4
