L3 Early Years Educator Apprenticeship

About the role

The Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprenticeship is designed to equip individuals with the essential knowledge, skills, and practical experience required to support the learning, development, and wellbeing of children from birth to five years. Apprentices will gain hands-on experience in a childcare setting, covering crucial areas such as safeguarding, child development, and the planning of engaging and educational activities. Key duties include supporting children's learning through play, delivering fun and educational activities, assisting with personal, social, and emotional development, and helping with daily routines. The role also emphasizes ensuring children's safety and wellbeing, adhering to safeguarding and health and safety procedures, observing and recording progress, and fostering positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues. Apprentices will contribute to creating a safe, welcoming, and stimulating learning environment.

Entry requirements

• GCSE Maths and English at grade 4 or above, strong communication, attention to detail, organisation, teamwork, creativity, initiative, non-judgemental attitude, and patience.
