About the role
This apprenticeship is designed for individuals with some prior experience in a nursery or school setting who are passionate about childcare and early years education. You will gain a Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification. Responsibilities include providing engaging activities, supporting children's learning and development, preparing the environment and resources, assisting with food preparation, and adhering to safeguarding and health & hygiene standards. Training is delivered remotely via Teams, with weekly online sessions for the first 8 weeks and tutor visits to your setting. You will also complete Paediatric First Aid training. Upon successful completion, you can progress to a Level 3 practitioner role, with potential for a permanent position and further career opportunities in areas like social work, teaching, or management.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above. Strong communication, organisation, problem-solving, teamwork, and creative skills are essential, along with initiative, patience, and a non-judgemental approach.
