About the role
This apprenticeship is ideal for someone with some prior knowledge and experience within a nursery or school setting and especially someone passionate in childcare and early years, looking to further their career.
Key duties include providing excellent activities for children's learning and fun, supporting their development through planning and observations, preparing and maintaining the environment and resources, preparing food, assisting with self-help needs, being creative and enthusiastic, and adhering to safeguarding, health, and hygiene rules. You will also undertake First Aid and other relevant training.
Upon completion, you will become a Level 3 practitioner with potential for a permanent role and further career progression into areas like social work, teaching, or management.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above.
