About the role

Join The Tots Team in Leeds as a Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprentice and embark on a rewarding career in childcare. This apprenticeship offers hands-on experience supporting children aged 0-5, fostering their learning, development, and wellbeing in a nurturing environment. You'll work alongside experienced practitioners, assist in planning engaging activities, and contribute to children's physical, emotional, social, and intellectual growth. Key responsibilities include building positive relationships with children and families, observing and recording progress, promoting independence, and ensuring a safe and inclusive learning space. The apprenticeship includes monthly college attendance and on-the-job training. Upon successful completion, there is potential for a permanent role as a Qualified Early Years Educator.

Entry requirements

• GCSE English and Maths (grade 9-4) and a Level 2 Early Years Practitioner qualification (Pass). Essential skills include communication, attention to detail, organisation, customer care, problem-solving, creativity, teamwork, initiative, patience, and a non-judgmental approach.
