About the role

Westfield Primary School, part of the Midsomer Norton Schools Partnership, is offering a Level 3 Teaching Apprenticeship. This role involves supporting teachers in assisting children to reach their full potential. Key responsibilities include supporting children with daily routines, facilitating their learning within the classroom, conducting reading sessions, leading intervention groups as skills develop, and supporting children's emotional wellbeing. The apprentice will uphold the school's vision and values and work collaboratively within a year group team. Essential requirements include strong spoken and written English communication skills, along with solid qualifications in Maths and English (GCSE grade 4 or above). The apprenticeship is for 1 year and 6 months, with a start date of November 16, 2026. Successful candidates will undergo a DBS check and should consider their travel arrangements to the school.
