About the role
Maples Nursery School is seeking a Nursery Apprentice to support children aged 9 months to 5 years in a safe and nurturing environment. The role involves assisting teachers and nursery officers in facilitating learning and development through play-based activities. Responsibilities include supporting children's programs, developing stimulating learning environments, monitoring developmental progress, assisting with care plans and IEPs, managing meal and snack times, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and safeguarding policies. The apprenticeship is for the Early Years Educator Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard, with training provided one day a week at Ealing, Hammersmith and West London College. A DBS check is required.
