About the role

As an Adult Care Worker, you will provide personal care and support to residents with a wide range of needs. You will support individuals with their daily routines while promoting independence, dignity, and respect. You will read and understand care plans, risk assessments, and guidance to provide safe and personalised support. You will help with personal care, including washing, dressing, grooming, and supporting with toileting where required. You will support with mobility, moving and handling, and safely using equipment. Prepare meals and drinks and support individuals with eating and drinking. Support with medication in line with training, care plans, and company procedures. Complete accurate care records using digital systems and report any changes or concerns. Provide companionship, conversation, and social support to help reduce isolation. Support with light household tasks such as laundry, shopping, and maintaining a safe environment. Work closely with colleagues, families, and healthcare professionals to provide the best possible care. Follow company policies, procedures, and confidentiality requirements at all times. Attend training sessions, team meetings, supervisions, and reviews to continue developing your skills. Wear the correct uniform and represent the organisation professionally.
