About the role
Develop essential customer service skills at Cowries Mart in Gainsborough. This apprenticeship offers hands-on experience in a retail environment, including learning about specialist grocery products, handling till transactions, and managing online orders via WhatsApp and Shopify. You will also be responsible for stock organization and maintaining displays. The program includes valuable workplace mentoring and paid apprenticeship training. Duties involve welcoming customers, answering inquiries, processing payments accurately, learning product details, managing stock, and supporting online order fulfillment. You will also record customer feedback, resolve routine issues, and adhere to food safety and data protection procedures. Applicants from all backgrounds are welcome, with selection based on skills and willingness to learn. Product training will be provided.
