About the role
This apprenticeship is ideal for someone with some prior knowledge and experience within a nursery or school setting and especially someone passionate in childcare and early years, looking to further their career. Duties include providing excellent activities that ensure children learn while having fun, supporting their learning and development, preparing and maintaining the environment and resources, preparing food, supporting self-help needs, being creative and enthusiastic, following safeguarding rules, and undertaking necessary training.
Upon completion, you will develop into a Level 3 practitioner with the potential for a permanent position. There's also the possibility of progressing into other childcare-related roles such as social work, teaching, or managerial positions.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English grade 4 and GCSE Maths grade 4. Essential skills include communication, organization, problem-solving, logical thinking, teamwork, creativity, initiative, being non-judgemental, and patience.
