About the role
This apprenticeship is ideal for someone with some prior knowledge and experience within a nursery or school setting and especially someone passionate about childcare and early years, looking to further their career. Duties include providing excellent and stimulating activities for children, supporting their learning and development, preparing environments and resources, preparing food, and supporting children's self-help needs. The role requires creativity, enthusiasm, adherence to safeguarding rules, and undertaking First Aid and other relevant training. Upon completion, you will develop into a Level 3 practitioner with potential for a permanent position and future career progression into roles such as social work, teaching, or management.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above. Strong communication, attention to detail, organisational, customer care, problem-solving, and teamwork skills are essential.
