About the role
This apprenticeship is ideal for someone with some prior knowledge and experience within a nursery or school setting and especially someone passionate about childcare and early years, looking to further their career. You will be responsible for providing an excellent range of activities that ensures children learn while having fun, supporting their learning and development including planning and observations. Duties also include preparing and maintaining the environment and resources, preparing food, supporting children's self-help needs, being creative and enthusiastic, and adhering to safeguarding and health and hygiene rules. You will also undertake First Aid training and any other required training to meet changing standards or legal requirements.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, problem-solving skills, logical thinking, teamwork, creativity, initiative, non-judgemental attitude, and patience are essential.
