About the role

This 18-month government-funded program, accredited by City & Guilds, leads to a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Dental Nursing. You will gain hands-on experience assisting dentists, sterilising equipment, managing reception duties, and ensuring an excellent patient experience. Key responsibilities include providing chairside support, maintaining strict infection control standards, handling patient enquiries, and accurately updating patient records. This role emphasizes patient comfort, dignity, and confidentiality. Spondon Dental is an inclusive practice offering mixed NHS and private treatments, dedicated to nurturing the next generation of dental professionals. Upon completion, career progression opportunities include Senior Dental Nurse, Lead Nurse, Treatment Coordinator, or Practice Manager roles. With further training, you could even become a Dental Hygienist or Therapist.
