About the role

Manor Primary School, part of LEADING LEARNERS MULTI ACADEMY TRUST, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join their team as a SEN Teaching Assistant Apprentice. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain practical experience in a classroom setting while pursuing a Level 3 SEN pathway qualification. Responsibilities include supporting the class teacher, working with pupils individually and in groups, fostering confidence and independence, preparing learning materials, promoting positive behaviour, and assisting with classroom routines and safety. The apprenticeship also includes participation in training and supervision, with the potential for a permanent role upon completion and access to a Level 5 higher-level teaching assistant apprenticeship.

Entry requirements

• GCSE Maths and English A-C (4-9) or equivalent. Essential skills include communication, teamwork, creativity, initiative, being non-judgemental, and patience.
