About the role
Pattemores Transport is seeking a Welder/Fabricator Apprentice to join their team in Misterton, Crewkerne. This apprenticeship offers the opportunity to learn and develop skills in assisting with the design, fabrication, installation, and commissioning of new production lines and processing equipment. The role involves repairing machinery and plant components through welding and fabrication techniques, contributing to site development, and ensuring all work meets high quality and safety standards. Apprentices will read and interpret engineering drawings, fabricate metal structures, and complete welding activities. Essential requirements include GCSEs in English and Maths (A*-C or 9-4), strong communication, attention to detail, organisation, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
