Apprentice Maintenance Engineer

About the role

Groupe Plastivaloire is seeking an Apprentice Maintenance Engineer to join their team in Northampton. This role involves assisting with planned preventive maintenance, diagnosing and repairing faults on production machinery, and supporting engineers. You will learn to read engineering drawings, participate in inspections, and assist with installations and improvement projects. The apprenticeship includes completing maintenance records, adhering to health and safety regulations, and supporting continuous improvement. You will also attend training at Northampton College one day a week to complete the Engineering Maintenance Technician - dual discipline Level 3 qualification. Upon successful completion, opportunities may arise for progression into roles such as Maintenance Engineer or Multi-Skilled Engineer. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop a strong understanding of engineering principles and maintenance practices within a global manufacturing company.
