About the role
Support surveyors in conducting inspections and assessments of mechanical and electrical installations, including HVAC, MVHR/heat recovery, BMS, LV electrical distribution, public health, fire detection and suppression, lighting, lifts and other building services. Collect and record detailed asset data on site using AES's digital capture platforms, covering condition, functionality, location, attribute data, photographs and maintenance requirements. Learn to assess systems against health and safety, building regulations, statutory compliance, and sector-specific standards. Contribute to the development and maintenance of asset registers, life-cycle cost profiles and PPM schedules. Support the drafting of survey reports, condition assessments and technical commentary.
