About the role
This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to become a Heavy Vehicle Technician at ROGER DYSON LTD. You will be responsible for completing routine maintenance and repairs on all makes of Heavy Goods/Trailers vehicles, diagnosing and rectifying faults, and ensuring all vehicles are handled carefully. You will liaise with the Parts Department, adhere to Health & Safety regulations, and maintain high standards of cleanliness and tidiness. The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team. Upon successful completion, career progression to MOT Tester is possible.
Entry requirements
- GCSE Maths and English at grade 4 or above (Desired). Strong communication, attention to detail, organization, customer care, problem-solving, number, analytical, logical, and teamwork skills are essential. Initiative, patience, and physical fitness are also required.
