About the role

This Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to join Shotley Bridge Primary School and contribute to the development of young children. The role involves providing a high standard of care and education in a stimulating environment. Key responsibilities include planning and supervising child-led and adult-led activities, supporting numeracy and language development through play, and acting as a key person to ensure children feel safe and secure. You will work in partnership with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to meet the individual needs of each child. The apprenticeship is a stepping stone to a potential permanent position upon successful completion.

Entry requirements

• GCSE Maths and English Grade 4 or above. Essential skills include strong communication, organisation, teamwork, creativity, initiative, being non-judgemental, patient, enthusiastic, keen to listen, learn & develop, and possessing a caring and empathetic nature.
