About the role
This apprenticeship offers a 12-month, government-funded course leading to a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Dental Nursing, accredited by City & Guilds. As a dental nurse apprentice, you will gain hands-on experience assisting dentists, sterilising and preparing equipment, handling reception duties, and ensuring a positive patient experience.
Key responsibilities include providing efficient chair-side support, managing patient interactions at reception, processing payments, booking appointments, maintaining patient records, and supporting patient wellbeing. You will also be involved in managing stock and ensuring a clean and organised clinical environment. This role is crucial in supporting the dentists and senior team to deliver effective patient care.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above. Strong communication, attention to detail, organisational, administrative, and teamwork skills are essential.
