About the role
EC OAKHAM LIMITED is seeking a Front of House Team Member Apprentice to join their team in Uppingham. This apprenticeship offers hands-on experience in a vibrant, community-focused coffee house. Responsibilities include welcoming customers, taking orders, handling till systems, performing daily store routines, adhering to food safety compliance, managing stock rotation, maintaining cleanliness, and preparing speciality beverages. The role involves standing for long periods, lifting stock, and flexibility for early starts and weekend working. The apprentice will also be required to travel to both the workplace and Grantham College for training one day a week. Upon successful completion, there are opportunities for progression to a senior barista role and shift supervisory positions.
