About the role
This is an 18-month government-funded Level 3 Extended Diploma apprenticeship in Dental Nursing by City & Guilds. The role involves assisting dentists, sterilising and preparing equipment, reception duties, and supporting the patient experience. Key responsibilities include providing chairside support, managing patient enquiries, maintaining infection control, assisting with treatments, updating patient records, ensuring patient comfort, managing stock, and maintaining clean clinical areas. The apprenticeship also covers functional skills if applicable and offers a flexible online delivery model with quarterly start dates and regular support.
