About the role

AC Construction is seeking a dedicated Carpentry Apprentice to join their team in and around Plymouth. This apprenticeship offers hands-on training and skill development within an experienced company. Apprentices will work towards the Level 2 Carpentry and Joinery Standard (Site) and prepare for the Construction Skills Health, Safety and Environment (CSCS) test. Training will be a mix of on-site practical experience and one day per week at the Skills Group training centre. Regular assessor visits will monitor progress. Typical duties include shaping and cutting materials, installing partitions, doors, staircases, window frames, mouldings, and erecting structural components. Safety and quality are paramount. Upon completion, there's potential for a full-time role and progression to Level 3.
