About the role

Start your career in plastering with an apprenticeship working on real domestic projects across Plymouth and the surrounding areas. You’ll learn essential skills such as surface preparation, boarding, skimming, and repair work while working alongside experienced tradespeople. This is a great opportunity to earn while you learn.

Key duties include preparing work areas, mixing and applying plaster, assisting with plasterboard installation, smoothing and finishing surfaces, carrying tools and materials, cleaning the site, and working with experienced plasterers while adhering to health and safety policies.

Upon completion of your Level 2 Apprenticeship, there may be an opportunity to apply for a full-time position. Alternatively, you can pursue a Level 3 qualification or become self-employed and start your own company. The employer, Mark Jones Plastering, has over 20 years of experience and a strong track record of mentoring apprentices.
