About the role

This full-time position is well suited to an individual that is looking to advance in a dental career and gain direct experience in a thriving and supportive workplace. In practice, you will work closely with the dentist, assisting in surgery, as well as having sterilisation, decontamination and clinical duties, as well as possible reception cover.

Duties:

Chairside assistance including fillings, extractions and cross infection control

Learn about the anatomy of the jaw and mandiable and tooth anatomy

Required to learn all about certain medical conditions

The successful candidate will be required to take an Enhanced DBS check and will be required to have all childhood vaccinations and a Hep B course once offered a position. This will be done at Occupational Health and paid for by the employer. They will also be required to attend college.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE Maths and English at grade 5 or above. Communication skills, Organisation skills, Customer care skills, Team working, Good listener.
