About the role
University Academy Holbeach is seeking an Apprentice Technician/Teaching Assistant to join their team across plumbing, electrical, and resistant materials disciplines. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic individual with a desire to learn and support learners in practical and theory lessons. Key duties include providing feedback to pupils, assisting teachers, maintaining workshops, preparing equipment, and managing consumable materials. The apprentice will gain experience handling power tools safely and promoting positive learning environments. Upon completion, there is potential for progression into Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) roles or careers within the trades.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above, strong communication, attention to detail, organisation skills, problem-solving skills, logical thinking, teamwork, initiative, patience, and physical fitness.
