About the role

This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to become a Teaching Assistant at Gonerby Hill Foot Primary School. As an apprentice, you will work under the guidance of experienced teaching staff to support pupils' learning and development. Key responsibilities include assisting with classroom activities, implementing strategies to enhance pupil attainment, supporting individual children and small groups, and contributing to a positive learning environment. You will also be involved in assessing and recording pupil progress, organizing learning resources, and promoting inclusive education. The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, patience, initiative, and a commitment to safeguarding children. Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, there is a possibility of full-time employment.
