About the role

This is a Level 3 Plumbing Apprenticeship opportunity with CoTrain, a program under SECBE. The apprenticeship focuses on installing hot and cold water systems, sanitation, drainage, and supporting central heating systems. Responsibilities include setting up rainwater harvesters and lead soakers, as well as cutting and joining pipes and fittings. The role may involve working at heights or in cramped conditions. Applicants are expected to have strong communication, attention to detail, analytical, and teamwork skills. GCSEs in English and Maths at grade 4 or above are desired. The apprenticeship offers a clear career progression pathway, aiming to lead to full-time employment as a plumber upon successful completion. The training will result in a Plumbing and Domestic Heating Technician, Level 3 qualification, and satisfaction of requirements for EngTech registration. A CSCS Card will also be obtainable.
