About the role
An opportunity to train as a Level 3 Early Years Educator at St. Margaret’s CE VA Primary School in Yeovil. You will work as part of a team to support children's learning and development, creating and maintaining a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment. This role involves building positive relationships with children and families, planning engaging activities, and being involved in day-to-day preschool life. Duties include providing high-quality childcare for under-fives, assisting in the provision of a warm and caring environment, liaising with parents/carers and other professionals, and fostering a safe and stimulating learning environment. The apprenticeship includes training delivered fortnightly by Somerset Skills & Learning CIC, leading to a Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard for the Early Years Educator, with functional skills in English and maths if required.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 (or Level 2 equivalent) are desired.
