About the role
We are seeking to appoint a motivated person who believes in the power of education to work in our learning support team at Paget High School. Working alongside our SENCO and teaching staff, you will provide learning and care support for pupils with SEN to help work towards the outcomes on their education and health care plan. Duties include supporting pupils with building positive relationships, promoting high standards of behaviour, and assisting with the development and delivery of education support plans. You will demonstrate an informed and efficient approach to teaching and learning while supporting the work of the teacher, using behaviour management strategies in line with school policy, and promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young persons. This is an excellent opportunity to embark on a career in education.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English and Maths at grade 4/C or above, or equivalent.
