Childcare Apprenticeship – Level 3 Early Years Educator

About the role

This apprenticeship is ideal for someone with some prior knowledge and experience within a nursery or school setting and especially someone passionate in childcare and early years, looking to further their career. The role involves providing an excellent range of activities that ensures children learn whilst having fun, offering challenging and stimulating activities, and supporting children's learning and development. You will also be involved in preparing and maintaining the environment and resources for the children, preparing food for breakfast, snack, and afternoon tea, and supporting children's self-help needs. The apprenticeship requires creativity, enthusiasm, and adherence to safeguarding rules. First Aid training will be undertaken as required. Upon completion, you will develop into a Level 3 practitioner with the potential for a permanent position. Career progression opportunities include roles in social work, teaching, and managerial positions within childcare.

Entry requirements

• GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above. Communication skills, attention to detail, organisation skills, customer care skills, problem-solving skills, team working, creativity, initiative, non-judgemental attitude, and patience are essential.
