Early Years Educator Level 3 Apprentice

About the role

As an Early Years Educator Apprentice, you will work as part of a supportive early years team to provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment for children. You will gain practical experience while working towards your Early Years Educator qualification. Duties include supporting the planning and delivery of engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote children's learning and development, building positive relationships with children, parents/carers and colleagues, and helping to provide a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment for all children. You will also support children's personal care needs, encourage independence, confidence and social skills, and observe children's interests, development and progress, contributing to records and assessments. The role involves encouraging children's learning through play, creativity and exploration, following setting policies, and working effectively as part of the nursery team. You will assist with maintaining clean environments, communicate appropriately with parents/carers and professionals, attend training, and take responsibility for your own professional development.

Entry requirements

• GCSE Maths grade 4 and GCSE English grade 4. Communication skills, Customer care skills, Team working, Patience.
