About the role

This is a 12-month government-funded apprenticeship leading to a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Dental Nursing. The role involves assisting dentists chair-side, sterilising and preparing equipment, managing reception duties including patient queries and appointments, processing payments, and maintaining patient records. You will also be responsible for supporting patient well-being, managing stock, and maintaining cleanliness within the dental practice.

This apprenticeship offers hands-on experience within a dental practice, working alongside experienced professionals. You will gain practical skills and a recognized qualification. Upon completion, career progression opportunities include moving into team management roles, or further training to become a dental therapist, dental hygienist, or orthodontic therapist.
