About the role

Joe Tickle Racing is seeking a dedicated Racing Groom Apprentice to join their team. This role involves a comprehensive range of daily tasks essential for horse care and yard management, including mucking out, feeding, turning out horses, grooming, tack cleaning, and preparing horses for races. The ideal candidate will possess good experience in riding thoroughbreds and young horses. This apprenticeship offers the chance to gain practical experience and work towards a Level 2 Racing apprenticeship qualification. Training will be provided on-site during paid working hours, with mentoring from the employer and a dedicated Trainer Coach from Haddon Training. On-site accommodation is available. Successful apprentices may have the opportunity to progress to a Level 3 Senior Racing Groom apprenticeship.
