About the role

This Level 2 Apprenticeship in Customer Service at Doggy Daycare Tamworth involves a range of responsibilities focused on both customer interaction and animal care. Key duties include greeting and assisting customers, handling phone inquiries, managing dog check-ins and check-outs, and providing direct care for the dogs. This includes supervising them, engaging in play, and maintaining the cleanliness of play areas and the unit. Apprentices will also shadow veterinary staff to gain new skills, and be responsible for feeding the dogs and administering basic medications under supervision. This is a dynamic and physically demanding role in a potentially noisy environment, requiring candidates to be physically fit, patient, and possess strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. A full-time position may be available upon successful completion of the apprenticeship and probationary period.
