About the role
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join Thales UK Limited as a Hardware Engineering Apprentice. The apprenticeship offers a blend of study and hands-on experience, leading to an Electro-Mechanical Engineering Degree Apprenticeship. Duties will include designing and implementing engineering solutions, managing requirements, and participating in test, integration, and validation of complex products and systems. The role requires a self-starter with a genuine interest in engineering and a commitment to achieving a degree qualification. The apprenticeship programme lasts 5.5 years, combining on-campus learning, online study, and practical work-based experience. Upon successful completion, apprentices will gain a BEng (Hons) in Electro-Mechanical Engineering and a Level 6 qualification, with potential to progress towards Chartered Engineer status.
Entry requirements
- GCSEs (9-4) in English and Maths, plus A-levels (BBB) in Maths and two other subjects, or equivalent.
