About the role

This is a degree apprenticeship opportunity for a Systems Engineering Apprentice at THALES UK LIMITED in Templecombe. The role offers a blend of academic study and on-the-job experience, leading to a BEng Applied Professional Engineering Degree Apprenticeship with The University of Warwick. Apprentices will gain knowledge in professional engineering behaviours, complex engineering systems, the Systems Engineering Lifecycle, requirements capture, and testing. The programme includes on-campus teaching, virtual coaching, and online learning resources, with a focus on developing multi-disciplinary engineering foundations and a specialist pathway in Design and Development Engineering. Successful apprentices will qualify and become permanent members of the Thales business.

Entry requirements

  • 5 GCSEs incl. Maths & English (A-C or 9-4) and Maths and a further STEM subject at A Level (BB minimum of 112 UCAS points).
