As a Digital Product Owner Apprentice, you will develop the product knowledge, practical skills, and professional behaviours needed to define, prioritise, and deliver valuable products and improvements. You'll work as part of a product and delivery community, contributing to live projects by collaborating with engineering, design, data, systems, and domain specialists. You will learn to translate user and business needs into clear outcomes, well-prioritised work, and measurable delivery. Responsibilities include shadowing experienced product owners, contributing to product discovery, supporting backlog refinement, assisting with validation through demos and feedback loops, conducting user research, and producing lightweight documentation.

Entry requirements

  • 3 x GCSEs at grades 9-4 (A*-C) including English and Maths, plus 2 x A-Levels at grade C or above. IT skills, attention to detail, and teamwork are also essential.
