About the role
This apprenticeship offers a comprehensive training program in all aspects of horse care, leading to an Equine Groom Level 2 qualification. Duties include grooming, mucking out, trimming, plaiting, lunging, health care, travelling, and feeding. Apprentices will also gain experience grooming at competitions and assisting with riding. The role requires a hardworking individual who is prepared to work outdoors in all weather conditions and often at weekends. Commitment to improving English and Maths skills is essential, along with punctuality, reliability, and a professional attitude. Training will be delivered both on-site and through online learning, with regular visits from a dedicated coach. Progression opportunities to Level 3 are available.
