About the role

The Little Sweethearts Nursery is offering a fantastic opportunity for an aspiring apprentice to join their team in Camberley. This Early Years L3 Apprenticeship is ideal for enthusiastic and ambitious individuals looking to gain a playworker qualification while acquiring valuable experience. The role involves supporting children's development through care, play, and learning activities, creating a safe and inclusive environment, and communicating effectively with parents and carers. Apprentices will also be involved in observing and assessing children, maintaining records, attending training courses, and collaborating with colleagues. This apprenticeship leads to the Early Years Educator Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard, utilizing a blended learning approach with virtual classrooms, webinars, and online assignments. In-person visits from an apprenticeship tutor will also be provided every 5-6 weeks. Upon completion, there is potential to progress to the Level 5 Early Years Lead Practitioner apprenticeship and further training towards Early Years Teacher Status.

Entry requirements

• GCSE English Language grade 4 or above, GCSE Maths grade 4 or above. Desired skills include communication, teamwork, creativity, initiative, and patience.
